The Details

Our Project Summary

A semi-detached house in the leafy area of Spire Hollin, Glossop, the client was looking to open out their existing Utility Room and Kitchen, whilst forming a Shower Room in part of the adjacent Garage and bring more light into the Dining Room.

Using our experience in residential works including Garage conversions we undertook an initial measured survey and following the client’s brief formulated a scheme; which brought more light into the spaces at Ground Floor whilst enabling the expansion of the Kitchen into the existing Utility Space, accompanied with the inclusion of a landscape rooflight.

The Dining Room benefits from a new large window looking onto the rear garden allowing light to enter this space at most times of the day.

The new Shower Room is just off the Kitchen but with a design which allows part of the former Garage to remain as a Garden Store.

The works have now been completed and the vision of the client along with a high level of attention to detail from the contractor has made a real change to the functionality and daylight in the space.
